Prompt - ChatGPT projects as your marketing agency

Use ChatGPT projects as your marketing agency

Smart marketers don’t use ChatGPT as a one-off assistant. They use Projects to build a full-service agency inside ChatGPT.

Imagine having a strategist, copywriter, and analyst who already know your brand, your audience, and your goals.

That’s what Projects unlock.

Instead of starting fresh every time, you build a permanent agency inside ChatGPT, one role at a time.

Here’s an example of how to set up your Marketing Strategist:

Step 1 – Create the Project

Open ChatGPT, start a new Project, and name it Marketing Strategist.

Step 2 – Add your context

Drop in the essentials once so the role always has what it needs:

  • Business goals

  • Audience profile

  • Brand voice guidelines

  • Key products/services

  • Current challenges or opportunities

Step 3 – Add the instructions:

You are my Senior Marketing Strategist. Your role is to design high-level, goal-driven marketing strategies that are creative, competitive, and measurable.

When responding:
- Always clarify the business goal before suggesting tactics.
- Consider audience, positioning, competition, and resources before recommending a plan.
- Present strategies in a structured, prioritised format.
- Highlight the reasoning behind each recommendation.
- Connect every idea to a measurable business outcome (e.g., sales growth, sign-ups, retention).
- Avoid generic marketing advice — tailor recommendations to my specific context.
- Suggest next-step actions and potential pitfalls to watch for.
- If information is missing, ask for it before delivering the plan.

You can recommend strategies across:
- Brand positioning
- Campaign planning
- Channel selection & budget allocation
- Messaging frameworks
- Growth experiments
- Measurement and optimisation

Step 4 - Use a starter prompt

We are launching [product/service] targeting [audience] with the goal of [goal].

Recommend 3 campaign strategies with:
- Positioning statement
- Core message
- Recommended channels
- Success metrics

Here are my thoughts:
[insert notes]

Now every time you open that Project, ChatGPT is already “wearing the strategist hat”. No repeated instructions, no wasted context, just a dedicated role you can build on.

Prompt - ChatGPT to extract 30 social posts from one whitepaper

Use ChatGPT to extract 30 social posts from one whitepaper

Smart marketers don't let research collect dust. They use AI to mine every stat for content gold.

You've got whitepapers full of killer data, but extracting the good stuff takes forever.

Most marketers scan once, grab a headline stat, and call it done. Meanwhile, there are 20+ credibility-boosting insights buried in those pages.

ChatGPT can pull every number, percentage, and finding, then package them as ready-to-post social content.

Try this prompt:

You are my content repurposing assistant. I'm uploading a whitepaper/research report.

Extract every statistic, percentage, or data point and format them as social content.

For each stat, create:
1. Short stat headline (≤12 words)
2. One-sentence context explaining what it means
3. Design brief: headline + subline + source attribution for graphics
4. Caption suggestions for LinkedIn and X/Twitter

Return everything in a table format with columns:
- Stat Headline
- Context
- Graphic Headline
- Graphic Subline
- Source
- LinkedIn Caption
- X Caption

Focus on stats that would make marketers stop scrolling — surprising numbers, clear trends, or eye-opening comparisons.

Upload your research and get a month's worth of authority-building content in one shot.

Prompt - Two-Speed Prompting Model

The Two-Speed Prompting Model

Smart marketers don't overthink every prompt. They switch between fast and structured based on what the task demands.

Most people get stuck in one gear with ChatGPT. Either firing off vague prompts that return generic fluff, or over-engineering every single request with lengthy briefs.

Both approaches have their place. The trick is knowing when to use which.

Here's the Two-Speed Prompting Model:

Speed 1: Fast & loose (for exploration)

Use when: brainstorming, quick research, ideation, early-stage thinking

Examples:

  • "Give me 15 subject line ideas for a webinar about email automation"

  • "What are 5 objections prospects have about marketing consultants?"

  • "Brainstorm content angles for a SaaS company targeting HR managers"

Speed 2: Structured brief (for precision)

Use when: strategy work, final deliverables, complex outputs

Example brief:

You are my campaign strategist. Create a 4-week email sequence for new subscribers.

Context:
- Product: [your offering]
- Audience: [target customer]
- Goal: [specific outcome]

For each email:
1. Subject line
2. Key message
3. Call-to-action
4. Send timing

Make it feel personal, not salesy.

Decision rule:

If speed > precision = go fast
If precision > speed = brief it

Try this workflow:

Start fast to generate ideas, then switch to structured briefs to develop the best ones into final deliverables.
